Photos + Review! Lismore (NY) @ Crush - Backbooth (Orlando) 04.07.08

Wow, what an energetic pair this was! More-so Penelope, the frontwoman of the duo (although, she didn't have to stand at a computer and keyboard the whole time like Stephen). Wielding just a corded mic and dressed in neon blue and yellow Nikes, a pair of argyle socks, and a yellow sundress, Penelope proceeding to go absolutely apeshit, leaping and jumping on stage. She even jumped down into the floor and "moshed" with the encircling audience. Girls danced with her, guys danced with her, and she tossed ice cream sandwiches out into the crowd. That's fun shit.

Basically, this was a fucking wild night! This edition of Crush fell on the same day we all found out about the drama between Pauly and Saturday/Thursday Firestone (aka the permanent "vacation" of Pauly Crush and crew.

Of course, after their 35 minute or so set, our beloved residents, Justin Scott, Miss Fit, and ringleader Pauly Crush did what they do best each and every week...make us all sweat till we can't stand anymore.
