Photos! Fools Gold WMC 2008 Showcase @ White Room (Miami) 03.28.09

First off, let me just say this was one highly insane/intense party! Everyone kept showing up out of nowhere and playing surprise sets! By the end of the night (well 4am at least...party went on til 5 or so), the whole stage was filled with DJs and promoters. Chromeo showed up and Dave 1 hopped on the mic, just not to sing...Tommie Sunshine popped in for a bit. Surkin, Para One, and Bombo from Institubes showed up and Surkin performed one hell of a set. Really amazing stuff! Daniel from LA Riots got the crowd going wild, along with Treasure Fingers. Then Jessie from MSTRKRFT tag teamed with Daniel and really kicked it up. The crowd was surfing, jumping, pounding the stage. Jokers of the Scene then took over and really impressed me...I've never heard them live before, followed by Boys Noize, who always kills it. A-Trak then finished off the night...and talk about impressive. Dude actually spins and scratches records like an old-schooler. Very very good!

Photos! Windish Agency WMC 2008 Pool Party @ South Seas Hotel (Miami) 03.28.08

So, after the iheartcomix / scion party, well...during the party, we hopped to the Windish Agency pool party at the South Seas Hotel to catch Jesse Rose and DJ Mehdi as the day turned to night. Surkin, Para One, and Drop the Lime showed up near the end to do some filming of us Americans! I love those guys, especially since they remembered me from the insane afterparty at Pauly Crush's house back in September 07!

Photos! IHEARTCOMIX + SCION WMC 2008 Pool Party @ Raleigh Hotel (Miami) 03.28.08

Day 1 of WMC - Miami. Franki Chan's iheartcomix teamed up with Scion to bring us a pool party at the Raleigh Hotel. The lineup included Franki himself, Toxic Avenger, the Institube players Bombo, Surkin, and Para One, and Curses/Drop the Lime, who just hopped over after spinning at the Windish pool party next door. Calvin went on next, but we switched to the Windish party, as we heart they're might be a special guest, but they never showed. Here are some photos. Windish party photos up next!
